Recycled DTY
Recycled DTY (Drawn Textured Yarn) is a type of polyester yarn that is made from recycled post-consumer or post-industrial PET (polyethylene terephthalate) waste, such as plastic bottles. The recycled PET waste is cleaned, shredded, melted, and then drawn and textured to create the desired properties. Our recycled DTY offers several benefits over traditional DTY, including reducing waste and promoting a more sustainable and responsible approach to textile production. It also has similar properties to traditional DTY, such as strength, elasticity, and resistance to moisture and chemicals, and can be used in a variety of textile applications. Overall, recycled DTY is a promising development and is in line with our company’s mission to promote sustainability and a circular economy.
