ACY

Air covered yarn (ACY) is a type of yarn that is produced by covering spandex with a filament yarn using compressed air. The process involves wrapping the spandex yarn with a textured or smooth filament yarn using compressed air. The compressed air causes the wrapping yarn to adhere to the spandex yarn, creating a stable and stretchy yarn.

The resulting yarn is known for its excellent stretch and recovery properties, making it ideal for use in applications such as hosiery, sportswear, and intimate apparel. The texture and appearance of the yarn can be varied by changing the denier, filament count, and texture of the covering yarn. We can offer Air Covered Yarn with a combination of 20 D, 40 D and 70 D spandex.
